Galcon is a fast pace action game that keeps you busy and entangled into its game play. Developed by Phil Hassey, this action based strategy game is quite challenging yet easy to play. Supported by great interface, Galcon comes with around five separate game modes that can be played on around 10 difficulty zones. The game play is easy; all you have to do is take control of different planets. You capture one planet at the beginning thupon the plant’s size i.e. if you attack and capture a bigger planet you will get more ships and vice versa. You can also attack multiple planets by individually taping on them. Each planet has some number given on it, which represents the number of ships defending it. The different modes of game play in Galcon are 3-Way, Classic, Vacuum, Stealth and Beast. 3-way mode puts you against two iPhone-controlled opponents/enemies. Classic mode also puts you one on one with a single enemy plant (both you and your opponent start with one planet under your control). In vacuum mode, at gives you 100 ships and now you tap on another planet to capture it. The simple way of attacking and gaining a control of a planet is to send more ships than what that planet has. Every time you gain control over a planet it gives you extra ships, the rate of ships produces depends you race against the time and gain control of maximum number of neutral planets before your time is up. Stealth mode is like classic mode with an exception that here you cannot see the ships of enemies. Lastly, in beast mode, you have control of all major planets and your opponent has all small planets under its possession. Galcon is highly impressive game with its nicely presented sound effects, graphics, resume support, text driven help screen and different map layouts. The exciting and challenging game play and approach makes Galcon truly a source of entertainment in your iPhone.
