The game play is obvious, as you have to race around the different tracks playing different games. While in some you might be racing against time, in others, you will be racing for the first position. Gaming modes include arcade, championship, time attack, and quick race.
Raging Thunder, with its superb visuals and gameplay speed, lets you enjoy the race more and more. By tapping on the left side of your screen, you can boost the race by activating turbo power-ups. By tapping on the right side, you can tailgate your opponent and fill up the ‘tackle gauge’ and move towards becoming a leading car in the race. On becoming a leading car, by filling the tackle gauge, your car speeds up spinning the opponent out of your way. When the gauge is empty, laughing skulls icons can snatch your boost, slowing down your car.
The controls of Raging Thunder are quite good, as the accelerometer functions well and even the touch controls are decent. Every time you are too close to another car, pressing on right side would help you in spinning it away from you. Another amazing feature of this thrilling car race is the automatic pause, as you can easily attend a call, come back to the game and start from exactly where you left it.
The Wi-Fi feature of Raging Thunder lets you go for a multi-race, as it allows four drivers to race together. Then there are power up for money upgrades and boosts.
